Will have to train at least three times a week to ensure I am fit for the run. Bought a new pair of Nike Running shoes last Saturday.

I like running. Since the days when I was in Temasek JC, I had been a fun of running. The tougher life gets, the more I run.

Whenever I clock a better timing or over a greater distance, I would congratulate myself for the personal victory. It's more of a Mind Game than physical conquest to be honest.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-08-08T07:49:09Z</dcterms:modified>

Run For You Life

I am joining the

Since last week, my left eyelid has been twitching and twitching. This is really getting into my nerves. I tried massaging it but the twitching seems to have unlimited power supply. It simply twitches none-stop. Some people believe that if the left eyelid twitches, it is a bad omen. That something bad would happen. But impatience is really getting the better of me. If it really must happen, let it come! And stop this irritating twitching. It's so distracting, it's making my head ache!

Ring Ring ..

Mama: Hello, you coming home for dinner tonight not?

Me: Yeah, I am on my way home.

Mama: OK. I have prepared dinner for you. Fried egg and Claypot soup cooked with corn and red dates.

Me: Thanks! Hungry liao.

Mum's the best doctor for my tummy!

Finally visited a chinese physician last Saturday. Uh uh... don't conclude that they are unreliable. I am quite in favour of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). The back of my thighs and calves have been aching for quite some time. I had reduced my running routines significantly but the pain simply refused to go away. One visit to the Dr Yan, an energetic and giggly lady in her forties, and the pain lessen significantly. She engaged four needles for accupuncture. Two on left and right side of my back. Another two on each of my calves. She then applied some electricity to the needles and I could feel the nerves from my back down to my calves pulsating. I won't say that it was scary or unpleasant, but one has to get used to it or overcome the fear of that initial prick. So if you are not afraid of needles and bitter concoctments. try Chinese Medicine.
